Christmas Break (December 19 - Jan. 16)

Yes, the title of this post is "Christmas Break", one of the nice things about being a student and on maternity leave is that we got to spend a month at home over the holidays. It was wonderful - we enjoyed being with our family and friends and the warm weather was also appreciated!

We really packed it in in a month - we visited family, had a party for Lilly Anna, spent Christmas Eve with my family in Fort Worth, Christmas Day with Josh's family, New Year's Eve with friends, New Year's day stopping at multiple friends' houses to watch football, Josh went duck hunting in Arkansas, we made a trip down to San Antonio and then celebrated my 30th birthday. Like I said, we really packed it in!

While we were gone Lilly Anna laughed for the first time on New Year's day.

It was so much fun and the only time we will ever have the opportunity to stay for so long!
